Douglas is available to appear and advise in a broad range of civil matters. His principal areas of practice include family law, wills & estates and property disputes. He appears routinely in appeals, trials and in mediations as both mediator and advocate.
Graeme was admitted to practise on 1/3/77. Since that time, Graeme has practised exclusively in the field of Family Law. Graeme was accredited by the Law Institute as a Family Law Specialist in 1990, and remained so accredited since that date.
Tony specialises in insurance, construction, professional liability and environmental law, and is a Victorian Bar Advanced Mediator. He frequently chairs Court ordered conclaves of technical experts.
Jamie was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1999, and requalified as a Victorian Legal Practitioner in 2004.
Brendan is an experienced criminal defence lawyer.
Michael practises in criminal and administrative law.
He has appeared in a wide range of matters, including conviction and sentence appeals before the Court of Appeal, Royal Commissions and inquests. He was a consultant to the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants.
Jordon Ross was admitted in 2003 and signed the Bar Roll in 2007.
Prior to coming to the Victorian Bar, Patricia practised as a family law solicitor for many years and as an Accredited Family Law Specialist from 2001. As a partner at Howie & Maher Solicitors, she headed up the family law division.
Don’s move into local government saw him specialising in town planning and general local government matters involving statutory powers and council meetings.He acted for the State of Victoria creating and progressing the State policy for reducing old and inappropriate subdivisions.
Prior to signing the Bar Roll in November 2007, Kim Southey worked as a lawyer in the firm BJT Legal in the Melbourne and Benalla offices from 2003 to 2007 and practised primarily in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Crimes Family Violence.
From 1985 to 1999, Bruno was the principal of Bruno Kiernan & Associates and then senior partner of Kiernan Bryant & Bourke. In 2000 Bruno completed an MBA at Melbourne Business School (Melbourne University) and in 2003 joined leading family law firm Carew Counsel.
Jim appears in personal injury matters and has a particular interest in negligence trials, specialising in common law cases involving industrial and transport accidents.
Prior to returning to Victoria, he practised from 2000 to January 2007 in London.

Richard did his first criminal defence trial in 1998 when he worked as a Public Defender at Victoria Legal Aid. He regularly appeared in committals, pleas, trials and appeals in his 10 years at VLA.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Glenys was a Registered Trade Marks Attorney and a Workplace Relations Specialist. She was also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Workplace Relations Specialisation Advisory Committee.

Jim Bisas was admitted to practice in 1990 and signed the Bar Roll in November 2006.
He has extensive experience in criminal litigation with an emphasis on County Court trial work. Jim was an associate to Judge Steven Strauss of the Family Court of Australia.
Amanda began her working life as a registered nurse and midwife specialising in intensive care/coronary care work and later as a maternal and child health nurse in the community. As a result Amanda brings a broad life experience to her legal practice.
