Cybersecurity for Barristers (Vol 1): Rules and expectations

The Victorian Legal Services Board & Commissioner introduced ‘Minimum Cybersecurity Expectations’ that apply to all lawyers, including barristers, in February 2024. The Innovation and Technology Committee invites members of the Bar to find out more directly from the VLSB's Policy and Regulatory Strategy team and, with members of the Ethics Committee, review how the existing ethical rules apply to barrister's cybersecurity.

This CPD is the first of two co-hosted by the Innovation & Technology Committee this year on how barristers can minimize their cybersecurity risks.
