A welcome sitting to mark the appointment of Her Honour Judge Kate Hawkins as a judge of the County Court of Victoria will be held in Ceremonial Court 3.3, Level 3, 250 William Street, Melbourne on:

A ceremonial sitting of the Fair Work Commission to welcome Deputy President Andrew Bell will be held on Wednesday, 18 May 2022 at 9:00am.

The Commission has COVID protocols in place which will limit attendance to Speakers and invited guests only.

The Commission is currently upgrading its technology and therefore unable to live-stream this event.

It is with deep regret that members are advised of the death of Giuseppe John Sala, or Joe as he was known to most, on 20 April 2022. Joe was born on 17 August 1948 on the Southeast Coast of Sicily in a small town named Floridia. He emigrated to Australia with his parents, initially settling, like so many other Italians, in North Melbourne.
