It is with deep regret that the Bar Council informs members of the recent death of Raymond Johnstone. He was aged 85.
Raymond was admitted to practice in 1960. He was called to the Bar in November 1965. He read with His Honour John Read.
Raymond contributed to the Bar by serving on several standing committees and was a mentor to two readers. He practised as a barrister until 2000.
Sympathies are extended to Raymond’s family, friends and colleagues.
