Profile:
Sam practises in a wide range of common law and public law matters, with a focus on personal injury, intentional torts, and insurance matters. He also has experience in judicial review and Coronial Inquests.
Before coming to the Bar Sam was an Associate at MinterEllison, where he developed a diverse litigation practice in personal injury, insurance and Coronial Inquest matters.
Sam also gained extensive litigation and public law experience as a solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitors Office (VGSO). His portfolio spanned tort and breach of statute, Coronial Inquests, general public law litigation, judicial review proceedings and matters under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.
Sam accepts briefs to advise and appear for both plaintiffs and defendant in all metropolitan and regional courts. He is reading with Michael Clarke and his Senior Mentor is Liam Brown SC.
