Cameron Baker did his articles at a commercial firm before moving to the OPP to increase the amount of advocacy and court exposure in his practice. He worked in the general prosecutions and confiscations teams at the OPP before moving to Legal Aid and the defence. For the last six months before he went to the Bar he was an in house advocate for a leading private criminal defence firm.
Since coming to the bar Cameron has appeared in a wide variety of criminal matters in the Magistrates', County and Supreme Courts. A highlight of his career is that in his first ever contest as a barrister he successfully ran a defence of automatism.
Cameron Baker signed the bar roll in November 2008 and is interested in all areas of criminal and personal injuries law.
