Andy practises in commercial and public law.
Before coming to the Bar, he was a senior associate in the Commercial Litigation team at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and a solicitor at Allens and Herbert Smith Freehills.
Andy was an associate to the Hon. Robert French AC, then Chief Justice of Australia. He also worked for the Solicitor-General for Western Australia.
Andy has a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford where he studied on the Daniel Slifkin Scholarship from St John’s College, Oxford. He has a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He graduated first in his class in law and received the prize for the most outstanding humanities graduate.
Andy was a lecturer at UWA where he taught public international law. As a sessional academic, he taught corporations law, statutory interpretation, administrative law, constitutional law, and in the economics department at the UWA Business School.
