Since coming to the Bar in 1982 David has had extensive experience in trial and appellate advocacy in the Family, County and Supreme Courts.Also, he regularly appears in the Federal Magistrates Court, State Magistrates and Childrens Court, and VCAT.David specialises in family and criminal law. In addition, he is developing a practice in occupational health and safety, as well as wills/testators family maintenance.His extensive experience in the conduct of trials and mediations enables David being available to accept briefs in a wide range of legal matters with a focus on addressing complex and difficult issues.Davids main area of practice in recent years has been in the Family Law jurisdiction. he has appeared in many trials concerning children and property.He has appeared in 'white collar' criminal trials (eg. the Jetcorp Trial), as well as in murder,robbery and sexual offence matters. He is a keen traveller and sports lover, coming from both a rural and city background.
