Cynthia has an Honours degree in law and prior to working as a solicitor, then barrister, worked extensively in the health care industry, particularly in specialist multi-disciplinary surgical and pharmaceutical treatment teams.She has appeared in most advocacy jurisdictions, County and Appeal, Magistrates' Courts and VCAT. Her medico-legal research skill and trial advocacy interest are priority areas. She has a keen interest in forensic and mental health issues and an established international as Churchill Fellow for Australia in managing children during household trauma. Cynthia is also legal counsel to Oncology Social Work Australia (OSWA) and a member of various multi-disciplinary medical and other executive committees.
