Jacob graduated with degrees in Law, with Honours, and Arts.
Jacob served his articles of clerkship at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office under principals James Ruddle and John Cain.
Upon his admission, Jacob worked as a solicitor at the Victorian Office of Public Prosecutions, in the General Prosecutions then Circuit sections.
Upon his calling to the Bar, Jacob read with His Honour Magistrate Patrick Southey.
In 2011, Jacob participated in the inaugural Victoria Legal Aid Talented Junior Counsel Program.
Jacob accepts briefs to appear in all criminal matters and jurisdictions, including summary crime and committals, bail applications, pleas, criminal trials and criminal appeals (including drawing and settling notices of appeal and written cases).
Jacob has an interest in international criminal law, and is currently undertaking a Master of Public International Law at the University of Melbourne, focusing on the jurisprudence of the International Criminal Court.
