Emma is a member of Young's List and Level 29, Aickin Chambers. Her practice encompasses advice and appearance work with a focus on contract, superannuation, complex procedural matters and trusts.
She has a Juris Doctor (JD) from Melbourne Law School, with prizes in Property, Civil Procedure and Legal Research, and a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from the University of Oxford, which she attended on an Allan Myers Oxford Scholars Scholarship. She also has a BA Hons in English Language and Literature from Oxford.
Her legal skills are complemented by her background working for the Supreme Court of Victoria (as associate to Elliott J and then Executive Officer), for the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva and as a professional actor on both stage and screen in Australia, the UK and the US.
Emma has an interest in the law of digital information and technology and is currently Chair of the Legal Technology Committee, Law Council of Australia and the Bar's Innovation and Technology Committee. She is also a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course and a member of AIPPI Australia and the Bar's Exam and Victorian Bar News Committees.
